but my camera is in my car and I am to lazy and its to cold to run out and get it now! LOL
But because the picture is already on my computer I thought I would show you which necklace I ended up buying from the Vintage Pearl on Etsy. Nope... it was neither of the two I listed earlier in the week..LOL
The Circle of Love (which she listed on sale as of this morning...figures LOL!)
This way I could put all 4 of us on there, cannot wait to see what it looks like in person.
I recently found this blog (click the title to go there) on another blog I frequent and she makes the most amazing jewelry! Today I came across this cute litte number on her site. All is sterling silver and can be purchased on her blog. This particular one was based on the bible verse:
"Arise, let your light shine for all to see, for the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you." Isaiah 60:1
and all proceeds on this hot little number go towards her womans ministry at her church. A steal at just $20, I already bought mine!!
She also has an Etsy store "The Vintage Pearl" and I want everything (you can find the link to her etsy store on her blog). I seriously love her things...Now I am trying to decide on one of these, maybe you can help me decide. I would of course put my daughters name Ella on one charm and my sons name Carson on the other...
I just love handmade things and visiting fellow crafters blogs and websites, if you get the chance go check this one out!
Well she is at it again, another giveaway. If your interested in entering for a chance to win a bind it all machine, a cute cupcake apron or.....a vintage necklace than go here and enter: http://lifeonelayoutatatime.blogspot.com/
my link feature does not work, never has, so just copy and paste the web address into your browser to check it out! (or click her banner to the top right of my blog)
Have fun and good luck!
Todays project for possible upcoming class:
Items used: Kaisercraft frame. Package of brown Jenni Bowlin Bingo cards (they can pick whichever one they want to use on the frame, they each have a different word on the top) Prima pearls spray, punched flower diecuts from patterned paper, punched flower diecuts from vintage sheet music, 1 Jenni Bowlin pearl flower, Kaisercraft Pale Beige paint, Glimmermist Simply Khaki, 2 large metal brads, 1 vintage button, 1 Maya Rd pearl pin, 1 small piece ivory lace, Fancy Pants acrylic stamps, Timber Brown Staz On ink, liquid adhesive, sandpaper, distressing tool, scissors, pencil.
While the paint will still a little tacky I sprayed with the glimmer mist and dry brushed, the two blended and then I let dry. This gave it that wood grain look with just a slight hint of a glimmer. Stamped the scroll patterns, distressed all papers, created the flowers using various techniques. Printed my pictures off the computer in black and white since they are vintage photos and frame is distressed look, thought they coordinated well. Just in case your curious the first photo is my mother in law as a child and the second photo is my husband and his sister as children.
